The Forest Path

People picture heaven in different ways, but my personal imagining is this. 

A shady forest path, lined with flowers. Where the temperature is neither too hot nor too cold, where we can walk either alone, cherishing memories of a life lived well, or with the ones we love, or even with ones we never had the chance to meet on earth. 

Advent of Summer.

Summer has arrived, the bright spectacle of June. 

Find your spot beneath the towering maples, abide in its shade and verdant splendor.

Find a book, a story to escape into, and let the songbirds bring you to solace.
